Comment: I am retired and living in Anchorage, Alaska with my husband, John, of 43 years. We moved from Georgia about a year and a half ago because of our older son, Jack & daughter-in-law were having trouble in their lives, and our grandson, Oliver(whom I care for) all needed serious support. So I resigned my job at a Preschool, and John resigned his at ‘A Better Tomorrow’ in Atlanta, we sold or stored everything but what would fit in our double cab Toyota Tacoma and moved to Alaska! John works in social work here, in Anchorage. Our younger son, Nick, who went to school in Tennessee for music production came with us to make it a family affair. He is a musician. His band is “Medium Build” (It is a cool sound, kinda Indy-Rock/R&B) Check them out on Spotify and ITunes. If you ever venture up here, let us know! I look forward to the reunion! Sounds fun!

Comment: Greetings to everyone, If 40yrs sounds long ago,has anyone given any thought about Blackberry Lane or Brittney Woods?! I am glad to have remained friends with some of those people and look forward to this reunion.

Comment: I am looking forward to our fiftieth! I retired from the Juvenile Court bench in 2014 after serving for 20 years in Des Moines, IA. I now keep mentally engaged consulting, writing, and teaching; but the best parts of retirement are unhurried time with children and 5 grandchildren as well as traveling and volunteering. We get to StL several times a year, often en route to Florida or Texas to escape Iowa winters, but also to enjoy a few Cardinal games when we can.

Comment: When I taught English and sponsored the Tom-Tom at U.City High ('74-'83), I used to stand outside my classroom and squint down the hall, trying to picture us there. Since I stopped teaching with the birth of our first daughter, I have had many part-time and free-lance jobs. The last was as a blogger for the Post-Dispatch. And yes, I did have to ask what a blogger is before I took the job. My husband, Rick ( U. City '68) and I had a great time at his reunion. Reading all the entries here, I'm looking forward even more to ours.
