Great website.Whose idea was it to include then and now pictures? Bad idea. I peaked at 29 and people said I looked a whole lot like Brad Pitt. What do you think? I married Sally Altman, class of '70 Ladue, sometime last century. I have three children, all girls, Emily 30, Elizabeth, 22, and Katharine, 19. I worked for 30 years at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch as a reporter, editor and writing coach. Started my own business in 2004 modestly naming it Weisswrite LLC. Sally and I do writing workshops (including one for Newstead's swank accounting firm in Clayton not long ago). We work with journalists, businesspeople, students, corporations and, as the business card says, "anyone with a story to tell." Sally and I are also part-time editors and writers for the St. Louis Beacon, a fledgling online journal with "news that matters" in our region. Check it out at stlbeacon.org. (Dale Singer, U. City class of '67 -- or was it '07? -- works there too.) I am also on KTRS Radio (550 AM) doing a media critique at 8:35 a.m. each Monday with McGraw Milhaven. I should stop or you're gonna say this guy needs an editor. (My excuse is that I never worked for the Tom-Tom. As I recall the pay was very low.) I may not make the reunion as I have family coming in from out of town. But please hoist one for me now that you can finally do it legally. All the best, Dick |

I hope to have my first non-fiction book out in 2018, "Camino Lessons: Losing 21st Century Fears on an Ancient Pilgrimage Trail". I have another written, a young adult fiction, and am currently working on a sequel to it... Also working on a completely different book related to parenting and loving a Trans adult child. Looking forward to seeing everyone. I have such fond memories of all my creative and forward-thinking class-mates. It will be wonderful to be together and appreciate all the positive differences we have made in the world! Love to you all! Thanks to all on the Reunion Committee! BIG thanks to those of you who helped me to move forward on my Camino adventure, Ellen Sherman & Nayana Hein. You are both in the book! |

In June of 2008 my husband, Rich, and I were married 38 years. We have 2 children - Sherry, her husband, and 3 children live in a suburb of Seattle WA. Joe, his wife and 2 children live in a northern suburb of Chicago. Rich works for the Norfolk Southern Railroad as a Communications Tech and after 40 years is thinking of retiring December 2009. He is also and Ordained Deacon for the Archdiocese of Chicago. I am a Hospice Chaplain and active in our church. With this schedule, we are kept very busy. |

Comment: How does one summarize fifty years into a synopsis of just a few sentences? After Syracuse University I spent a brief time in city management before concentrating most of my professional career in marketing communications and arts management (Saint Louis Art Museum and Theatre Project Company). I loved my years of volunteer work with Opera Theatre, SLSO, Saint Louis Arts Fair, and others. In 2000 my husband and I launched new careers in innkeeping when we purchased a B&B in Pennsylvania. After 15 years we closed the inn, although I remain active in the innkeeping industry as a consultant and cookbook author with 8 Broads in the Kitchen (our third is hot off the press). I love living on the east coast, but certainly miss St. Louis. It will be terrific to see everyone at the 50th! |

Now I travel, volunteer and substitute teach. My husband and I spend the summers in Wyoming. I am blessed to still have both my parents. |

Comment: It has now been nearly 11 years since my husband and I left STL to move to NYC. It has been without a doubt one of the best decisions of our life. We enjoy life here in the big city and are close to our 4 children, their spouses and our 9 grnadchildren. I am still working a bit at NYP Weill Cornell Hospital as a RN/Lactation consultant. We enjoy life together with friends and family and are grateful for all of the gifts that life has brought us. |

Another reunion missed. Wish I could have been there. Sounded like a great time. The website is great and I have been able to catch up with some, but not nearly enough, classmates. Well, just 9 years and 11 months and there will be another. |
