Comment: I worked for a bridal manufacturer from 1970-1985 in customer service. Worked for McDonnel Douglas from 1985-1999. Now working for a small insurance company in Maryland Heights as a customer rep. I got married in 1973 but divorced in 1976. In 1981 I married Clyde Davis who was a real gem. He worked at Mac too. Sadly, he passed suddenly of a heart attack in Jan. 1997. He had 4 daughters and I have 8 grandchildren and another grandson on the way. In 1999, I married Dominic Birrittier. We had known each other from workiing at Mac. He has 4 children and has 7 grandchildren. I have 17 grandchildren and believe me, Christmas is a real hoot. The last reunion I went to was the 20th. Looking forward to seeing some friends I have not seen in a while. |

Been living and enjoying Philadelphia since 1975, a great place to get educated, hear and play music, explore art and history and find community. Met my favorite (actually, only) husband, Adam, here, married 34 years, and raised two kids in a place (Lower Merion) that reminds me in many ways of U. City - a great school system, good people, and lots of musical theatre productions! While at Wash U., I met musician/friends whom I traveled and performed with for a couple of years, a big highlight. In '75 I came east for grad school, but ended up working as the graphics editor for the Philadelphia Jewish weekly paper (many times the size of the Jewish Light because of the large J. population here ) while continuing to sing and learn new styles of music. But with age, the demise of newspapers, and having kids, the occupational detours have been many and not at all that memorable. In the last decade I did learn "enough" professional design software to allow me to continue on my own to design print projects and web pages for individuals and non-profits. Of course there have always been ups, downs, anxieties, loss, doubts, & worries. But currently things are mostly in the "good" column: our 26-year old daughter lives with her S.O. and works for a start-up in San Francisco; our 30-year-old son lives with his S.O. in Brooklyn, and is a writer for rollingstone.com, which he insists will always be a publication "by and for old people." Adam and I are “officially” retired and look forward to the usual - more travel, seeing friends, hearing more music, maybe grandkids, and with any luck, the good health to enjoy it. Thanks to Marlene and Everyone on the reunion committee and their partners for all their hard work to make this happen. I know it'll be a great weekend. |

Comment: Hello All. Has it really been 40 years ? Well, I have lived all over the United States and in Europe for several years, which I enjoyed immensely. Besides our three children, Mark and I are grandparents of seven, ranging in ages 2-14. I worked for several years with impoverished children, then began a new career as a librarian. I am very pleased and proud of my family, my husband, children and grandchildren. I feel that I have had a most fortunate, interesting and entertaining life :) I hope you have too. |

After going through Blackberry Lane and Brittany, I found Ladue High School to be a very foreign place. I am much more interested in the U. City people. I studied high tech at Purdue University, and then U. of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana. I've lived in Israel, St. Louis, and now Boston, where I work in the high tech industry. I've come to love the ocean and the mountains of New Hampshire and Vermont, but I miss the people and easier lifestyle in St. Louis. My kids were born and raised in Boston, so they don't know anything else. The 50th reunion will be a blast. Thank you so much to Marlene and others on the committee! |

Over the past 50 years I’ve racked my brain trying to remember what you looked like when I heard your name. Hello Dial? Over the years I have yelled at stupid drivers, and my husband, and my daughter. And I have eaten so many bagels — more than I could ever measure. I have drank too much coffee and wine and bourbon, and I have ignored the Surgeon General‘s warnings. I secretly wish my basement would flood so I wouldn’t have to go through all the crap I’ve been hoarding. I see no point in eating calamari, when there are onion rings to be found everywhere! I am passionate about cold pizza for breakfast. I wish they would bring back Jell-O Whip n Chill. I am told I have an art for not putting things away. I could never live more than 3 miles from a Schnucks (that’s the absolutely furthest I could or have ever walked in my life; if my life depended on it!!) I’d need a ride home of course. I’m exhausted thinking about it! I’ll be at the registration table at Meadowbrook Saturday night if anyone wants to meet me. Please look at the tip of my tongue as it contains all the names of the actors in movies that I can’t remember the names of although I have seen them multiple times over. I can’t remember your name either I won’t know your name, sorry. I have discovered that I was born for retirement. I keep my fake nails long just so I won’t have to type anymore after 50 years of it as a profession. I drank the Kool-Aid at Monsanto for over 30 years. I just discovered I have worn off some fingerprints due to that typing profession. Fake me, fake nails, fake teeth, fake hair color, and if I can pull them off I might be wearing fake eyelashes at the reunion – that’s the real me I’m in it for the laughs. And the food and the love I have for and from my husband Bruce (a U. City ’68 Grad) And mostly the joy of watching our beautiful 40-year-old daughter Stephanie mature into womanhood. I love my life— it is filled with Mahjong, music, mayhem, and movies. After 50 years, how did I get here? Via my leased Mercedes Benz I’m actually thinking of buying...Thank you Janice Joplin. |

Anyone who reads this and is in northern California, contact me and lets get together. I cant wait to see all of you in October. |
