Comment: Hi All! Looking forward to seeing you--I think! If I remember who you are! I have been married for almost 48 years, living in Kansas City. I am a retired law firm library director, but the joy in my life has been raising my son and daughter, and watching them become parents. Hope everyone is doing well and has had a happy life. Looking forward to a fun weekend. All Hail U. City High!! |

Comment:
My professional life as a real estate and tax attorney in Clayton finds me representing developers of commercial properties that use tax incentives in developing real estate projects throughout the Midwest. One good example is the St. Louis Foundry (Forest Park and Vandeventer now under construction), a recent project employing historic and Brownfield tax credits in an opportunity zone. As an adjunct professor of law at Washington University’s Masters in Tax (LLM) program for many years, I have enjoyed training and interacting with young lawyers, and have found great satisfaction in teaching courses in real estate tax incentives (federal and state). Our family consists of a wife of over 30 years, Tara, and two children and two step-children. Our son is in San Diego California, specializing in the development of housing for homeless and works for a syndication firm, attracting large institutions in partnerships as investors in low income housing real estate projects. Our daughter is a first year attorney in St. Louis working in an international law firm, specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Her pro bono work includes assisting the City of St. Louis with its vacant housing problems and working with local not for profits. We have three grandchildren in Scottsdale, AZ that are the light of our lives. My hobbies include travel, golf, reading (particularly murder mysteries), and handball. |
