Comment: I can’t believe that the time has gone by so quickly.  It seemed like forever back at U-City that I would ever get to graduation.  If it weren’t for Dale, Dan, and Bob and don’t think I would have ever made it.  Spent 30 years as a Commodities  broker on the exchanges in Chicago, then up and left and taught High School for 17 years.  Married to the same woman for 41 years ( don’t know how she put up with me!). My son is about to be promoted to Major in the Air Force.

The high light of my teaching career, was telling my film students that I use to help Bob make movies in high school.  Thanks Bob;  long live The Green Vomit!

Comment: Since 1974 I have lived in Israel.  Met and married my Israeli husband in 1978.  I have worked for Magen David Adom (the Israeli version of the Red Cross), for Hadassah Hospital and now for a large HMO.  I do try to get back to St. Louis to visit family and friends.  I have 5 wonderful children and 2 grandsons.  Thank G-d I am healthy and all is well.  Anyone want to come for a visit?  One of my son's is getting married in St, Louis on Sept 13, 2009 (date sound farmiliar?)  So I don't know if I can actually make the reunion.  Believe it or not, I am no long the shy, awkward, unattractive teenager that I once was,  wow, what the real world can do for ya.  Anyway have a great time at the reunion, if I don't make it.,  Would like to stop by for a few moments.

Comment: After graduating from Mizzou in 1972 in Special Education, I worked for 15 years as a Special Ed. teacher with a few years off to have my two children. I moved around the country with my husband's work in medical research, from North Carolina to Seattle, Washington and then to return to St. Louis to settle here.

I went back to school at UMSL to get my masters in Educational Psychology and worked for 12 years as a School Psychological Examiner for Special School District. I retired from education in 2007 to pursue a second career.

I currently own my own company, Gateway Quilts & Stuff and do commissioned work for fabric companies and magazines. I travel and teach quilting where ever the demand is, have two quilting books published and teaching videos on quilting.

I currently live in a rural area outside of St. Louis enjoying nature, my 2 dogs, 5 cats, and husband of 45 years. Life is good!

Comment: After leaving St. Louis as Chief Engineer at KSDK-TV I moved to Louisville, KY to work at WHAS-TV as Chief Engineer.  The past 5 years I have been living in the Washington D.C. area working on a project for Sprint Nextel Communications. In 2010 I moved back to the Midwest, Kansas City, Kansas .  I was lucky to find fellow classmate Gail Deruchia also living in the Kansas City area.  In late 2012 we got married making me the most happy man alive.  I am semi-retired working part-time for the Federal Aviation Agency in the Midwest.  Hobbies include Ham Radio, Aviation, Target Shooting, Gardening and Sports Collecting. Have 4 grandkids and 4 more on Gail’s side for a total of 8.  Holidays are really fun.  Look forward to seeing everyone next year.    Gil    geludwig@aol.com
