Linda MacRunnel
1951-08-18 2018-01-09A truely genuine, caring, nice person. She is missed and appreciated by anyone who knew her. I'm glad I got the opportunity.
tribute by Alan FieldsLinda was a dear, wonderful person. I doubt if she had a single mean bone in her body. We shared an apartment for 3 years before I got married. We did not stay in touch, as I wish we had. She was a bridesmaid in my wedding!!!
tribute by Annette GastLinda and I were best friends from nursery through elementary school, almost inseparable. We laughed when no one else understood what was so funny; we never tired of running through hanging laundry in her dark basement in order to scare ourselves silly; we stuffed ourselves with the best after school snacks that only her mom knew to get; and we turned her swing set into magical transport that took us on so many adventures. We had a lot of fun. I am grateful for those memories and to her family who welcomed our wild play. I’m sorry the years took us in different directions and wish the few times we got together and the couple of phone calls we shared as adults could have been more, but we did not stay in touch. Reading the lovely comments on her memorial page makes me sad for all her friends who lost her at such an early age. I don’t think she would mind if I still called myself her friend – she was just that kind.
